Pokalde Peak (5806m)

Pokhalde (5806M) was first climbed in 1953 from the Kongma- la. The peak itself is the seemingly in significant looking mountain when seen from Pheriche, however, it dose offer interesting scrambling on the well-defined ridge. The northern side of the mountain has a small hanging glacier. Pokhalde appears to be most of a rocky ridge dominated by the vastness of the Nuptse Though not of any great magnitude. Pokhalde was first climbed by "giants in the mountaineering field".

Itineraries

Day 01:-Fly from Kathmandu to Lukla (2804m), then we make an easy walk to Phakding (2610m).
Day 02:- Phakding to Namche Bazar (3440M).
Day 03:- Rest day in Namche Bazar for acclimitiz (3440M)
Day 04:- Namche Bazar to Tengboche Monastery (3850m)
Day 05:- Tengboche Monastery to Dingbuche (4350m).
Day 06:- Rest and acclimatizing day (4350M)
Day 07:- Dingbuche to Lobuche (4950m.).
Day 08:- Lobuche to Gorak shep (5160m.) Same day afternoon excursion to Everest base camp back to Gorakshep.
Day 09:- Early in the morning Hiking to Kalapathar (5545m.), & back to Ghorakshep trek down to Lobuche.
Day 10:- Lobuche to Kongmala Pass (5535m)
Day 11:- Kolma La pass to Pokalde high camp
Day 12:- Pokalde peak summit (5806m) - then trek down to Chhukung valley.
Day 13:- Chhukung to Tengboche (3800M)
Day 14:- Tengboche to Namche (3440M)
Day 15:- Namche to Lukla (2820M)
Day 16:- Fly back to Kathmandu transfer to hotel, free day and in the evening fare well dinner.
Day 17:- Free day or any other programme
Day 18:- Drive to airport for final departure.
